This originally started, when out mind-numbing boredom, I filped through an old box of my mom's teenybopper magizines from the 60's. The pink tinted pages were mostly filled the beatles, and other large-nosed british popstars, yet there was something stuble and profoundly disturbing about it all. The magizines were obviously targeted twoards teenage girls, or a least what teenage girls were in the nineteen sixties. But if this was the media's perception women/ girls at that time, something was wrong. Everything in those magizines was so vain and stupid and vicarious is that what teenage girls are supposed to be like? Well fuck them. So in a sense this is a femmist collage, illustrating that sterotype from the magizines.
There's also alot of images in here from the magizines also. Everthing in this is supposed mock the sterotype, from the tampon wraper and sewing pins, to the pink unicorn. I acutallay sewed alot of this together and it took forever. THere's also a picture of Sid Vicous, which is relevant in a way because it fits with the british rockstar theme (who better?) and he ended up killing his girlfriend on a herion trip. There are also a few religous undertones if you look hard enough. MESSAGE: the media dosent always treat women right, so fuck that and be yourself.
Even today's popular teen girl's magazines make me sick. All about how to improve the way you look, how to make yourself look like everyone else... and everyone on TV. Freakin' awesome job on this! +fav

Some people have been asking me about this stuff so I decided to gather all information in one single article on how to make your own portfolio, in a profesional and clean looking way. I hope it's useful, because these steps I myself take.
In this article I will provide you some ideas how you can build your own homestudio for considerably cheaper price than it would cost to use "official" studio gear. I will also show you few examples where I have used the gear I describe during this article.
